The Gay Mafia has given over 230 improvisational and sketch comedy performances across the US. Mike Player, Kurt Hall, Star Ahrens, Nancy Kissam, Alex Garner, Diana Yanez, and Mark Rakow have organized America’s first and continuing Queer Comedy Festival Outlaugh since 2005 and appeared numerous times on LOGO’s Outlaugh Festival on Wisecrack. Imagine one part Bette Midler, add a dash of Dolly Parton and mix with the talents of David Copperfield and POOF! You have Cashetta - Queen of Magic. Scott Weston is Cashetta, and has been playing to sold-out crowds at the Crown & Anchor nightclub and cabaret in Provincetown, MA for almost a decade. Gay Rappers, Lisp and Havana are fresh off their tour with Margaret Cho’s “the Sensuous Woman” show, and perform regularly with The Gay Mafia. They have been featured on LOGO’s Outlaugh Festival on Wisecrack.
